So whats the secret?
- adjust levels of until the image is only black and white. no grey allowed
- select the magic selection wand, make sure the contiguous option is not ticked. Select the black area.
- using the paint bucket fill this area with the colour of your choice.
- select
the brush tool (decrease the opacity and harshness of the brush) and smoothen
the sharp corners and edges to make the template look authentic.
- download a "spray paint" brush from http://www.brusheezy.com/.
- use this brush to randomly add spray paint marks.
- increase the width of the canvas.
- select the edge of the template. Then go to select>inverse.
- using the soft circular paint brush, follow the corners of the pattern to create a template effect.
